R&Q Insurance Holdings Ltd, the leading non-life global specialty insurance company focusing on Program Management and Legacy Insurance businesses, is pleased to announce the appointment of Hillary Jarvis as Chief Claims Officer for North America. Hillary will report to Andrew Pinkes, Global Chief Executive Officer, Legacy Insurance.
Hillary brings over 20 years of experience and was most recently Managing Director, Claims – Compliance and Strategy at Markel where she led a team of 60 responsible for claims compliance, business intelligence, innovation, and strategic planning functions. Prior to this, Hillary was General Counselor, Second Vice President to the Travelers’ largest claims center. She started her career practicing law at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman and was of counsel at Steptoe & Johnson.
